| News from Dr Prabhat Das Foundation July 2007 |
| is a non-political & secular organization dedicated for the upliftment of economically disadvantaged people in the region of Bihar. Our motto is to “help people to help themselves” & "Progress for all : Justice for all." **** SOME ACHIEVEMENTS IN JULY: Some photos & news Clips (July '07):-----> 1) Total number of approx. 280 (two hundred & eighty) "Mini-Library- cum-Community-centers" are working at present at Panchyat and Mohalla levels. Dr Prabhat Das Foundation is thankful to our local supporters & volunteers. 2) Several Block level "Inter School Quiz / Competitions" were organised under the guidence of Mr Mukesh Kr Jha, Coordinator, Dr Prabhat Das Foundation. Students in thousands participated in these competitions, and showed their talents. 3) Mr Zawed, Mr Prashun Jha and several other computer instructors worked hard to make "Computer Camps" a grand success in this month also. Hundreds of successful students received certificate from Dr Prabhat Das Foundation at the function organised at Sidhauli, Hayaghat under the direction of Mr Zawed. 4) Sewing centers, Cottage industries continued to work well. A new center was started at Raiyam, Keoti Block. 5) A "English Coaching Center" was started at Bela, Darbhanga. (All these inspite of heavy Monsoon rains & Flooding.) 6) A grand plan:- To provide opportunities to students, youth, kids even in remote areas Dr Prabhat Das Foundation is sponsoring MORE THAN 200 competitions (related to sports/ quiz/ singing/ cultural events) in the district of Darbhanga in Sept & Oct.
