SOME ACHIEVEMENTS IN DECEMBER:

THANKS: "Dr Prabhat Das Foundation" thanks to
our Volunteers and local people,
who have worked hard and selflessly, and
have helped the foundation to achieve so much in the year 2007.

1) At present, we have 280 (Two hundred and eighty) actively running
"Mini Libraries cum Community Centers"
2) Many small scale industries (eg,Sewing Center, centers for Mithila
painting and handicrafts).
3) Several "Computer Literacy centers" running in many locations for
poor students and local public.
4) Many Quiz/ sports/ other competitions involving thousands of
students, children and youth are organised EVERY month.
5) "Health Camps" organised periodically in different poor localities.
6) Drs Saumya & Prabhat Das visited Bihar in Oct - Nov., and
received a very warm welcome from the local people.

REGIONAL OFFICES
In December the Foundation has started:-
TEN REGIONAL / BLOCK OFFICES
This was done because of extensive increase in the field & scope
of our Foundation's work.
These Regional Offices work under the leadership of
a "Regional / Block Coordinator" at each place.
Each "Regional Office" is fully equipped with a computer and basic
furniture.
These Regional Offices also have
a "Mini Libraries cum Community Centers" and a "Computer Literacy
centers" at their premises.
